Calling a Magazine a Clip

I used to work with another range officer that was just like Jeff Cooper in that he would always try to correct the officers when they referred to a magazine as a clip. Naturally, people went out of their way to say "clip" instead of magazine in front of this guy.

How do you react when someone calls a Magazine a Clip?

It depends. If they are close friends or I know they have a sense of humor. I'll work up my best drill instructor voice and start yelling. Drop, drop and do pushups till I"M tired.

Otherwise I just don't say anything. Who cares really? Although in basic about the only things worse were .
Droping your rifle.
Calling it a "gun".
Calling a Sgt. sir.
(Once I managed to do all three in the same day)
