Can anyone ever have too many Ropers?

Larry
They are Ropers. I have a pair made by Keith also. I displayed Ropers at the Columbus Annual.

Don, my post wasn't very clear. I knew yours were original Roper's. I just thought they might be kinda rare since I don't see many with what I would consider "great" wood like the Birdseye Maple, and all KB grips are made with quality wood. Do you think since Roper used the Birdeyes Maple it might have been an even more custom order than usual, or maybe the customer sent him the wood? Have you seen very many Roper's made using highly figured or exotic wood? Thanks for sharing.

Quick and dirty shots because I am still unpacking from a 2-week trip with a 3 year old and a nine-month-old.

It looks like the number on the back was 439 and then the space before it has 38. Clearly for a 38 or k frame.

The cool part is it's my first set made out of circassian Walnut and aside from the repairs on the butt which will need to be correctly repaired they're pretty dang pristine.

Also my computer died on the trip so my picture/posting abilities are hindered at the moment.
