I need two 17 rounders before I can start shooting competition with my new Pro Series.
Do you know where I can find them?
Every site I know of is sold out and have been for weeks.

I haven't seen any in months. I've been looking as well.

GunBot find M&P mags in stock

Additionally.. keep checking here.. if you have it show all of them (including out of stock items) I see that Nanchez had them 11 hours ago.. maybe they will get more in.. Good luck in the search. here in NY we can only have 10rd magazine's, but can only put 7 in them thanks to NYSAFE

A lot of sites will notify you when they have items you want if you sign up for notification. Be aware they do go fast. I was notified of something being in, 2 hours after the email was sent they were out. Of course I did not see the email until about 3 hours after it was sent...

G&R Tactical has them...BUT...they won't sell them through their website (says out of stock)...they're selling them via auction on Gunbroker for $100 each...others have them listed on GB, too...but you're gonna pay for them. Glad I stocked up before the mad rush...

See this post from yesterday:

I was able to order 3 17rd 9mm yesterday. I found it listed on gunbot (Natchez). Go to Gunbot, set the alert beeper, and leave the page open, and wait.

It's was the first time in a long time that I seen any available.

This might be a dumb question, but I see a lot of 40/357 M&P mags in my area but the 9mm ones have been gone for a while...how different is the 40 mag? Does it fit? If it were loaded with 9mm ammo would it work in a full size M&P? Has anyone tried it?

It wouldn't work because of the size difference in the two rounds. Maybe you could modify it, but I for one wouldn't trust it.

They will work, but will have a high rate of issues. I wouldn't use them for anything serious. Might be good for doing malfunction drills though :D

I'm basing this on those who did the 40 to 9 conversion and couldn't find magazines for it. The feed lips are a hair bigger and this causes issues.

I needed one for 40 Pro 9mm conversion. I figured that the only way I would get one without paying $100 for it was to buy a 9mm that had 2 mags, keep one and resell the pistol. That's what I did. Resold the pistol the same day I bought it. Magazine ended up costing me $15.00.

I appreciate your effort to help. $50 M&P Mags? The word exploitation comes to mind.

It's about $8.00 more than SW. Maybe not for everyone, but when I called SW, they are running about four months behind on the 9mm mags, and you rarely see any 9mm mags listed anywhere.

Getting depressing as the realization is hitting me. My new Pro Series and me rejected from shooting competition because I don't have four magazines.
Oh well, I try to stay hopeful.

Yes these are trying times my friends, but as I have said many times and must keep reminding my self, patience grasshopper!!!

I'll just say this. What a privilege it is to be a member here.
A lot of stand up class people here.

Appreciate the help.

I have an M&P 9mm FS hopefully coming to my home in the new future, but will face the same issue as Roger with not having enough mags to compete. Yet, sooner or later S&W will catch up and more will appear.
