I wish I could cry about people crying as well as you. I paid a premium price for a pistol and I think I should be able to purchase what I consider essential accessories in a reasonable timeframe. We are simply recommending people not to purchase a new M&P unless you think the magic dust the M&P uses to fire is worth not having more than 2 mags, seeing as how you can purchase nearly any other pistol and get all the mags you need. Do I have a right to complain online and warn others from falling into the same trap of purchasing a product without knowing the manufacturer would be unable to support said product? I think yes. It is also ok if you think reloading every 34 rounds is not an annoyance, for me it is a major one and S&W isn't the only name in town.
Would you purchase a cordless tool set from a company that only gives you 1 battery and doesn't allow you to purchase any additional batteries, requiring you to recharge and take a break every hour or two?
What are you used to buying if you consider a M&P a "premium priced" pistol. I think it's at the low end of the cost spectrum.
