I already have a M&P9c which I really like...carries easily, shoots smoothly and accurately. Now since I have some reloading components and dies, etc. for .45ACP, I figure that's a great reason for adding a M&P45.
I just can't make up my mind in choosing between the compact or full size. I might want to make it an EDC pistol, but was wondering how the larger size of the FS would affect concealed carry IWB in a hybrid-type holster, or OWB in a belt slide or OWB pancake holster like Ray's "enhanced pancake" at Lobo Gunleather...he made one of these for my SP-101 2-1/4", and it fits my revolver perfectly, carries high and close to my side, comfortable and conceals the gun very well.
Also, since I'll probably be reloading using both jacketed and cast lead bullets, I was wondering how well the .45M&P will feed and shoot using various bullet shapes and weights. Anybody here reload for their .45M&P's? None of the issues that came with reloading for the Glocks?...(partially unsupported chambers creating weak spots on fired brass, problems with lead, etc.)
I'd sure appreciate any input from owners of either the .45fs or .45c, and especially from anyone who owns a M&P in both the .45 and 9mm.
Thanks for your help in this decision.
