When I see the political situation in this country coming unglued; wild-eyed liberals vs. dug-in conservatives, etc. I think back to a recent visit to Bisbee, Arizona. Walking the streets was this trio: A mouse on the back of a cat on the back of a dog. I think we can all learn from our animal friends. Can't we all just get along? (Rhetorical question, I know.)

The mouse is not telling the cat what to do and the cat is not telling the dog what to do.

But the "Libs" sure try to tells us what we should do on the 2nd Amendment.

I see two mice. They're blind and the cat just ate the third one. The dog was given a doggie Darvon and could care less if it was a cat or a baby seal.

The mice are welfare recipients. The cat is the govt and the dog is the people who just don't care any more. Arf! Arf!

Paladin. There is a you tube video about the guy who owns these critters. He walks them around, and people really get a kick out of watching them. Especially the kids.

Actually, I think this is a representation of much of what is wrong in our society today

Bisbee, entire, represents much of what is wrong in our society today --- an aggregation of aging hippies and their contemporary wannabes, subscribers to various lunatic fringe notions, effete artsy-craftsy types, hyper-inflated valuations of gentrified real estate (a decrepit, tiny hovel, former miner's shack, might fetch six figures), crumbling infrastucture, no viable economic engine apart from tourism... But, with its remarkable topography, quaint architecture, rich history, charming hotels and B&B's, pleasant climate, good restaurants, I kinda like the place...

Always carry a snack with you.

K.

That cat will eventually eat those mice, and the dog will eventually have a disagreement with the cat. You have heard of human nature. There is also feline nature and canine nature. Just like human nature, it is going to appear sooner or later.
