Do you carry a Swiss army knife as your every day carry knife? And what model of Swiss Army knife do you carry?

I have been carrying a Tinker in my pocket for years. Oddly 99.99% of the time it is used for cutting something and then very seldom.
Now, the small keychain Classic that I carry in my jeans watch pocket gets used multiple times per day for various tasks, fingernails, ingrown hairs, splinters, loose threads, toothpick, etc. Overall it is a very handy little knife.

I carried one for years, nowadays a Leatherman tool and a Buck 110.
The can opener got the most use.

I have one of these on every keychain.

The Super Tinkers have rode many a mile in my back pockets.
Have came in real handy on many occasions over the years .

I carry the Soldier model, the one with the silver-colored scales: one main blade, large screwdriver/bottle opener, small screwdriver (or half of a Phillips)/can opener, and an awl. Very handy. I think it was about $25 new.

Like most of us, I have carried and used many pocket knives. Used to carry a large, assisted opening blade. Then started carrying SAK’s. My EDC now for many years is the Bantam Model. One large blade, then the screwdriver, bottle opener on the other end. Has the toothpick and tweezer. Does everything I need in a small size.

The Swiss Army knife I carried for years, and still do on occasion, was one that Swiss Air gave me on a flight when I helped a flight attendant resolve a problem. It came out of the onboard duty-free cart, back when that could happen.

I would hate to lose it, so keep it put away.

I carry a Leatherman MUT in the car.

I tend to carry a clip folder kershaw these days.

I've had this Victorinox Champion C since the mid 80s. Historically I only carried it when I thought I might need it instead of a single blade knife. These days I carry it all the time. I have used every tool on it more times than I could count.

I have a Tinker and when I visited Geneva, I had to buy one there so I got a Soldier Standard Issue. There was a gentlemen there who would put together a custom knife while you wait. They had a display of one with every possible blade on it. As thick as it was long, LOL.

I carry an Alox Electrician every day, for the sheepsfoot blade, and because it is only two rows thick. I keep it thin because I carry one or two other knives as well, usually an Opinel No.6, for the way it cuts, and an Okapi Biltong, for the way it snaps shut, and incidentally for the job it does on blister packs.

The Electrician will do everything the other knives do, and more, but not with the same style. As the photo suggests, I also carry the little Channellocks, which get used at least as much as the knives.
