Casting Marks, Or Is My 1006's Ejector Toast?

My ejector has what appear to the untrained eye as cracks, but it's tough to tell:

If it's bad, is there much to fitting a new one, or will it usually drop in?

That is a stamped part. It is punched from plate or sheet stock and what you see on the edges is typical of that manufacturing process. Every one you get as a spare part will look just like it!

I've seen some that look worse than others, though.
