CCW permit arrived

My CCW permit arrived today. It was 3 weeks from the time I applied here in Ohio. I don't think that was too bad after hearing how long it has taken others to get theirs.

Ohio sounds like Georgia. Took my wife's permit a little under 3 weeks to arrive. She just got it a week ago. Of course, I keep an active permit all the time.

Lucky you don't live here in NC. It took me 3 months to get mine and I understand now the county I live in it's a much longer wait.

In Illinois if your nose is clean, you don't live in Crook County and you submit prints, it's about 53 days. Otherwise it could be as much as 3 or 4 months and some as long as a year if local law enforcement objects for whatever reason.

As I recall, took a little less than 5 weeks here in New Mexico.

Three weeks and five weeks is fantastic! Three to four months is great, too.

There are still many folks who live in areas where they can't get one at all.

Got my non-resident Florida permit finally today in the mail .. Took 100 days from the day they received it ..

Will be able to carry there now when I go and see family !!

And they say crooks down there watch for out of state car license and target those people ..
