For any Forum members in the Central Florida area, here's a heads up about a new gun store/range that will be opening up next week. The old B&H Gun Rack and B&H Police Supply Stores (Merritt Island, Titusville, and Orlando) have closed and have been consolidated into the new "Pint and Pistol", located at 2911 Oxbow Circle in Cocoa, FL (off of Grissom Pkwy next to the new huge Amazon warehouse facility). B&H will continue to operate their LEO and military distributorships and sales within P&P. P&P has a retail store (guns, ammo, accessories, etc.), 18 military-grade air conditioned shooting bays, a restaurant, and a beer garden. The ranges are totally modern, up to 35 yards long, and will handle handguns, shotguns, and rifles up to .50 BMG! The ranges are also configurable for police/military training, as well as for civilian training classes. I've had a VIP tour, and the facility is outstanding. I hope that everyone in the area takes the opportunity to visit Pint & Pistol once they open. They will continue to post updates on Facebook.

Beer AND guns?????
What???? I know it happens in hunting camps and such, but commercially?
I raise one Spock eyebrow and say..."Interesting "

I have been going to B & H for 30 years. Beer & Guns? Not a good idea in my mind. Will be interesting to see how it goes.

Have no fear...they have an electronic system check to ensure that the shooter has not been drinking prior to shooting. Drinking is only permitted after spending time on the range, or for folks just wanting to visit the restaurant and beer garden socially and do not intend to use the range. The restaurant and beer garden are managed by the owner of several well-known establishments at Port Canaveral. This type of operation has worked well in several other local facilities. And in my mind it is safer than the axe throwing bars that allow drinking while throwing axes! LOL!

Axe throwing-?

Sorry, but you'll not see me within BB gun range of a bar with axe throwing. Tak-ti-kool guys guys are bad enough, but I'm not into hanging out with Paul Bunyan wanna be's.

I used to shoot at a range in Garfield (maybe Lodi?) NJ with a bar upstairs, range under it. I'm sure it's long gone. Never a problem but it was deep in the 20th century. Each lane had a "screen door" enclosure. One lane had dirt piled for "heavier calibers." I remember one old boy shooting a .303 Brit of some flavor, it was "notable." Joe

Sent you a PM. It was in Garfield and it's gone for many years.

Sounds interesting, curiosity may get the better of me to check it out. It still would not come as a surprise to see, Florida man in the news.....alcohol at the shooting range....emergency personnel responded...Jack Daniels whiskey keg.... no injuries reported.
