Cerakote Magnums?

Been thinking about refinishing a model 29 I have in cerakote.
It wasn't well cared for before I got it, and there is lots of surface wear and some light pitting. What I'm concerned about is the stuff being blasted off of the front of the cylinder with magnum loads. Anyone have any experience with cerakote on a magnum revolver?

Several models like the 629-5 NATO came factory coated and yes it does eventually discolor. It doesnt get blasted off but it doesnt stay pristine either

We are a cerakote factory applicator. We have done a few magnums. Like flundertaker above says. It does get blasted as magnum loads do, but we have not had any blasted off!!!
The stuff continues to amaze me!!!
