Changed my EDC

I carried a Chief's Special of some sort for 40 years. Started with a M36 3" bull bbl. Sq. Butt, then shortly thereafter went to a 2" M60 no dash for about 6 years or so and then to a 2" M60-7 for the remainder of those 40 years. Never had any issues with any of them but about 5-6 years ago I made the decision to go with a Sig P365 after they worked out all the kinks.

Because of the recent events in our Country over the past decade or so I just no longer felt comfortable with only 5 rounds onboard. The M60 is a competent, reliable and sensible choice for an EDC revolver. About the easiest revolver in a decent SD caliber to conceal. As long as you are comfortable with 5 rounds - great choice.

I didn't change my EDC. I just added to it. There was a time I was very comfortable carrying 2 J-frames sometimes even just one. For about the past three years I still keep a J frame in my pocket sometimes I'll carry two but usually, I have a high cap nine in the waistband also.

I changed my EDC recently, also, returning to an old favorite: a SIG P232. I know all about capacity and caliber and all that. Still, I have a lot of confidence in this pistol as far as reliability and accuracy, and that counts for a lot.

That's what I do, both in OWB holsters. (M340PD in cross draw & M442-2 in strong-side draw, both loaded with .38 Special +P). Rifle in the truck.

Yeah, I just changed up my EDC too.

I put away my pocket-carried P3AT in favor of my Sig P365 carried IWB.

Heavier winter clothes (cover garments) make concealing the Sig a lot more practical.

If you want pocket carryfor a J frame, get a decent pocket holster that doesn't look like you're shoplifting a club sandwich like that "sticky" thing: Here, Pocket Concealment Systems:
