Yup, the walmart by me has CCI Minimag 100rd and stinger 50rds for 6 bucks each, and federal bulk 525 for 18 bucks! Its about a mile from the range and on the way, so for me....can't beat it with a stick

The $5.66 deal was through Gander Mountain when you bought 1500 rounds (3x 500 bulk buy) with a $20 off coupon and free shipping. That was in December and doesn't appear to be going any more. Guess I should've bought six thousand instead of three thousand, lol. We'll just have to keep searchin and posting the best deals on this thread to keep us in cheaper CCI's.
As far as that Wal-Mart price, it is a good deal if you can't find them shipped for cheaper, but you can find them cheaper online...just takes work....and this thread. They're fitty cents more at my Wal-Mart, lol.

Zamboni thanks I am going to keep paying attention to this page and those deals, what is the sale that Gander Mountain does have , if you don't mind explaining o this n00b so I don';t have to searchsearchsearch for it
I bought about 3000 rounds from Gander Mountain. They weren't technically on sale; periodically Gander Mountain has coupons for $20 off $100 orders. They sell them in units of 500 for $35, although they actually ship the usual 100 round sleeves. So you would order 3 units of 500 each for $105 and then get the $20 off. Shipping is free (at least it was at the time) so you wind up paying a total of $85 for 1500 rounds, or $5.67 per 100 round sleeve.
Keep an eye on the Gander Mountain site or sign up for their e-mail mailing list to catch the next sale. I'm new to the .22LR world so I don't know how often they have this; I just got lucky.

It's really a wicked good deal and I haven't paid that little for them in at least two years and it's all I shoot through my M&P 15-22 and my Walther P22. (my two other 22lr's get bulk).

I do most of my shooting at a range across the river from me in PA. it's $20 bucks and allows up to 12 gauge buckshot...all my pistols, my .22LR rifles (and all pistol caliber carbines) and my shotguns as long as no slugs... so it's workable. The other thing is there is a Walmart 1.6 miles down the same highway. So I can stop and pick up ammo to shoot on my way or replenish / stock up on the way home. They don't have the MOST selection but it's good enough and I did the math, only on CERTAIN onloine purchases is it better. Of course these special cci deals nonwithstanding.

I have been buying cci mini mags hp or rn for $5.00 per 100 until Jan 2011 now they are $5.29 per 100. This store does not ship. I live close to it.

Yeah, Quickie62 bought the last. They're out of both Mini-Mags, the 40grainers and the hollow point 36 grainers. Y'all keep checkin in daily on their site, I'll bet they get re-upped pretty quick.
