Cheapest CCI Mini Mags in bulk?

why can't I get this shipped to Jersey? i've had ammo shipped to me no problems many times before from other sites?

These are hollow points. I believe hollow points are illegal in NJ. Can't have criminals running around with those dangerous .22 hollow points.

Hollow points are legal in NJ , it's illegal to use them illegally.... in other words, if you do something illegal While using Hollowpoints, you get in extra trouble, its a n addon charge, but perfectly legal otherwise.

Somehow that's makes perfect sense knowing it;s NJ. :D

I know a lot of you guys like Mini-Mags. If you're just shooting at paper you might consider trying CCI Standard Velocity and compare for accuracy.

Federal champion

Just 1050 rds for $29.00 at gander mnt. last night works out to just under 3 cents a shot they are copper plated hollow points 1260 fps 36 grains It seems to be a great deal if you have a gander mnt by you I would check it out for normal plinking

Does anyone know if there is a new coupon code? Hoping to get a good deal on mini mags..

Only saw federal 525 bulk for $15 after rebate..

I know that this is an old thread, but it comes up top in Google results for Mini Mags bulk so I thought I'd add my experience.

I recently bought my first gun, a S&W 422, and took it to the range here in Philly. All they had in 22LR was Mini Mags, so I bought two boxes. The bullets seemed to go exactly where I pointed the gun, and I was able to put 5 of my first 10 shots in the center ring with the Mini Mags at 45 feet.

The following weekend I went to my buddy's club. We went to Dick's and picked up a box of CCI Standard Velocity (500 for about $32 after tax) and I can tell you that while the rounds cycle flawlessly in my gun, they were hitting about 6-8" low at 50 feet. I confirmed this by shooting at pie-plate sized knock-down targets resting my wrist on the table. I had to aim well above the targets in order to hit them, which was *not* my experience with the mini mags.

I'd use the standard velocity for closer work, maybe plinking spinner targets at closer range, but at 50 feet with a paper target it was pretty unsatisfying to see all the holes so low on the target.

Umm , why not re zero for the slower ammo? You know, like you should.

Couple of clicks on the sight and the rounds would be 8" higher, or where you were aiming.

Took the rifle out today to break her in with some cci mini mag then a box of fed. I jammed about 9 times with the CCIs :( I dont know why. Not once with feds.

Me too! It's about the cleanest 22LR ammo I've shot. Much less carbon residue. It also feeds better for me in cold weather than any of the lubed stuff (including CCI).
Fed .22 still has lube on it also as does every variety of .22 ammo. Some just have more and different lube than others.

In my PC model it does not like Mini-Mags as well as my pistols (FTF issues mainly). It prefers CCI-Tactical and Win M-22. It was good with Fed 550 for awhile but Fed 525 Champion also gave me several FTFs.
As for copper washed vs. lead it is not an important issue in .22 ammo. The bullet lube keeps lead deposits low or nonexistant, that is why it is there. I find just using a boresnake cleans the barrel up nice.

Last month I ran 1400 rounds of CCI MM 40 gr RN through my 15-22 200 drum. It ran %100. There was not one single dud. I just had a dud after the first 200 rounds of CCI Tactical. For plinking the cheaper stuff is fine but I want the most consistent stuff for testing my drum.

I'm looking for a great deal on more MMs. Can anyone find a better deal than $330 shipped for 5000?

I'm not sure I completely agree with this statement, but the leading issue with non-copper washed is far less than 20 years ago. I still prefer the washed/plated for anything over 1,100 fps.

Just purchased 1600 rounds of MiniMags from Gander Mountain last weekend for $119. Includes the box. Individual boxes were in the $8-9 range. I figured my savings were just enough to justify the bulk purchase. I like CCI.
