Wholesalehunter.com - $5.20 per + shipping.

CCI 22LR HP MiniMag Per/100 - Wholesale Hunter

Purchased 50 packages (1 case), came to about $280 with shipping and no tax, around $5.60 per package.

When you add in shipping (at least for 1500 rounds) the Gander Mountain deal is better. I ordered 1500 rounds from Gander Mountain for $84.95 with free shipping. Wholesale Hunter wanted $12.50 for the cheapest shipping method (UPS ground) for a total of $90.50 for 1500. And I ordered from Gander Mountain Monday and received them today.

If you order larger quantities then the freight per box might drop and make the Wholesale Hunter price better. Also note that the Gander Mountain deal is for the 40 grain round nose while Wholesale Hunter has the 36 grain hollow point. So if you prefer one over the other that might affect your decision.

Just my $0.02.

Just picked up some mini mags tags today at wal-mart. Both fmj and hollow points were $6.95 per 100.

Have been buying Federal bulk packs at WalMart for $15.47. When you add sales tax that is $.03044777 per round.
They have been bright, shiney, and clean and shoot well in both my 617 and High Standard pistol.

Me too! It's about the cleanest 22LR ammo I've shot. Much less carbon residue. It also feeds better for me in cold weather than any of the lubed stuff (including CCI).

I feel the same way, it may take me a month to get 1500 rounds and pay 15-20 bucks more for them but i just cant do it

Nice to see I'm not the only one :D Someone showed me a deal on CCI Blazers(525) for..$15-16 and I thought I'd try to see what the total would be for 3 boxes and it didn't beat Ammo Bros./Turners haha I didn't want to find out how many boxes it would take for it to be a deal :o No way I could pull the trigger on that

Thanks Mr. T!

Haven't seen a price that low in at least 18 months.

As for spending $84.97 on ammo all at one time, that's pretty cheap compared to buying a box or three of 20 rounds for centerfire rifles in 2 or 3 different calibers. Even at $15/20 rounds, that $85 gets you about 113 centerfire rounds vs. 1500 Mini-Mags in 22LR.

The Gander Mtn. price with discount is only 5.66 cents per round which seems like a pretty good bargin given how well it shoots.

I like the Federal Bulk, but when CCI MiniMags were about $5.50/100 the Federal Bulk was under $9/525. In the last two years the price of Federal Bulk 22LR has increased by about 100% in my area while the MiniMag price is up by about 18%. That makes the MiniMags a much better deal than they used to be. The Gander Mtn. price makes it an even better deal!

hehehe, sweet, I just got my unenjoyment check today......AND I GOT A JOB OFFER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Freakin Woot!!!!!!! Buyin more ammo ASAP! Deals like the gander mountian are VERY few and far between.

Also, the Gander Mountain deal is the same whether you get the 40gr Solid Nose Mini Mags and the 36gr Hollow Point Mini Mags. NICE.

3000 more comin!

hehehe, I'll bet they're wondering why the sudden spike in sales, lol.

Oh, I definitely understand. Right now: it's because I don't have much money at all so there's no way I can get that. When I do have a bit of money, that's still a good chunk out of my checking account, know what I mean? I'd definitely save money in the long run but for then and there, I'd feel bad spending $80-100+ on expendable brass objects haha $20 for 2 is fine with me at this time. I'm pretty jealous of guys n' gals being able to spend $150 on 10398420338 .22 lr rounds :D I wish I could do that and feel okay about it.

I had plenty of those days in my past. I don't miss them at all, but they did teach me how to live within my means...

I haven't bought a box of 38 Special, 357 Magnum, or 30-06 in two years because I can't stomach the current prices, but luckily I got into reloading just before all the prices went crazy. I think I have only bought two boxes of centerfire ammo in the last two years, and that was Walmart 30-30 ammo for deer season. Mostly I have shot 22LR in the last year, in part because it is what I can afford.

Personal finances are all about cash flow, and if you don't have the cash, all you can do is try and minimize the flow part...

Lets all hope that 2011 is a more prosperous year for all of us. I mean, heck, hasn't the recession been over for almost a year now? Haven't seem much of that recovery around here, but that chicken in every pot has to be here real soon now.

Here's hoping you can afford a heap of CCI MiniMags in the near future!

Bump.....anyone know where you can get either 40gr Mini Mags or 36gr Hollow Point Mini Mags for $5.66 shipped like the Gander Mountain deal used to....maybe I suck at searching Gander Mountain, but I can't seem to find either of those loads there and I'd like to get another 3k....funds pending, lol.

Feelin kinda light in the brass over here......

Walmart consistently has them for $6.47 by me which is , or has got to be, as good as you can find when you deduct shipping costs. $5.66 shipped, please show me so I can buy some.

And my Walmart has also the $14.47/325 rds. Federal Target Match Grade bulk packs on the same area as the $6.47 Mini Mags, so I can really stock up on .22LR , and use pretty damn good stuff almost all the time and awesome stuff a lot more times than used to be.

Zamboni thanks I am going to keep paying attention to this page and those deals, what is the sale that Gander Mountain does have , if you don't mind explaining o this n00b so I don';t have to searchsearchsearch for it :)
