Mark Kelly, the man who testified in the Colorado hearings, saying there should be assault rifle and hi capacity magazine bans, buys one to be sure he gets his, before they are made illegal. I found this link on another forum.

Now I'm inspired -- I'm going to go the bad side of town and buy up all of the dope available (thus keeping it out of the hands of those who might actually use the stuff) ....... and then go and turn it in to the police who will certainly give me a warm welcome and a pat on the back.

The two are not mutually exclusive. I'd guess that he is establishing his bona fides for running for his wife's former seat.

I don't remember this, but it doesn't surprise me. I've met few liberals who weren't hypocrites. Interestingly, the ones that I know who aren't are also gun owners.
