I'd like to see all the different variations of the Checkered topstrap N frame 357s.
From 3.5"ers to the 83/8ths , blue ,nickel or otherwise ,, If you got em' Let's see em' .
No Highway Patrolman. They have their own thread.
I found this at the Miami show Saturday, a 5" 27-2 ,S297 serial. It had Pachmayrs , but was priced right.
Here he is with his brothers and cousins.
The 627-0 is probably the heaviest N 357 ever, with its unfluted cylinder and full lugged barrel.
A post war, 3.5in, shipped 7-25-1950, just turned 59 years old.
6in. 27, S200. made 1960 ,
A 5" 27-1 , rescued from a kitchen drawer, grips number to gun.
A 6" 27-2 S268, made in 1966.
The 4" 27-2s blue and nickel.
Both gun show acquisitions, from guys who didn't know exactly what they had.
