Elmer Keith used to make his own targets that operated on the same principle. You can create these yourself using a "paint" program. Pick a *very* large coarse font, print a capital letter "U", and then turn it upside down. Like this, but much larger:

I tried that - both left & right handed. Couldn't group. Wrong horse?

Yep, with a left hand shot, you need a left lead horse.

I test all of my handguns from sandbag rest with my forearms only supported, with the handgun extended just beyond the rest. I do not want any part of the handgun contacting anything other than my hands, so as to not effect its accuracy due to the handgun recoiling into or contacting the bags.

I will then follow up with shooting offhand (two-handed or one) at the same distance. I have not found any difference in point of impact from the bench to the offhand.
