Chest holster recommendations for PC .460 7.5”

Hey all,

The profile is a bit different on this performance center .460 than the standard .460’s (barrel profile / integrated optic mount, compensator that sticks out 100% past rifling, etc.).

I am looking for a chest rig that will work with my PC gun.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a chest rig that will work? I really dislike the 100% nylon rigs if I can avoid them... but I will consider them if my choices are that limited. I’d prefer something in leather OR even a kydex chest rig.

Plenty of letter chest rigs for this gun. Any thing that works with the 8.375" barrel gun will work for your- they are the same overall length.

I have both a Galco and a Mernickle chest rig for that barrel length and a preference for the Mernickle.

My suggestion would be the Kenai Chest Holster. Take a look at gunfightersinc.com for a complete review.

I have two of their chest holsters, one for the 1911 and the other for the N frame S & W. They work with all barrel lengths, are extremely comfortable and retention is very positive.

Thanks for the response. You don’t believe the wider optic rail at the top of the PC gun will interfere with the holsters designed for the standard 8 3/8” guns?

They offer a holster that has provisions for accommodating optics.
It has an open slot, allowing the gun to bottom in the holster and the optic sets outside the leather.

The also have a nylon holster (which is not tyour preference) that completely holds the gun and optic inside and has a flap to secure the gun.

Not a bunch of carry time on mine, but so far I have found nothing I don't like about it. Takes my redhawks---made for 4" but will take my others from 2.5" up to 7.5" with barrel hanging out.
