Okay some one got me going on Frank's hot sauce. Buy it by the quart because favorite wing recipe involves marinating them in Frank's, then grilling for quick searing while flipping and recoating. MArinating them overnight can get ya full brow sweat heat, while just coating them before grilling keeps them at slight brow sweat. For some alternative, marinate them then use a sweet barbecue sauce while grilling.

Watching this one, it’s not simple to get wings right but I’m sure there are some wing cookers here who know how it’s done.

I like wings...never have cooked 'em. Give us a recipe. Little less HOT sauce too..BBQ would be great. I'd cook 10-12 pounds.

There’s a recipe online to replicate the wings from Outback. My wife made once and it was as advertised. I don’t know if she still has it but they tasted great.

The sauce is the secret…we all have different tastes. I often use apple butter bbq sauce…not just on wings but steaks as well.

I really don't mind hot sauce but since I had esophageal ablation to get rid of cancer can't really do too much hot. Little bit hot pepper in an omelet is nuff

Another fan of Franks hot sauce. Air fry a nice batch of wings; then, while hot, we drizzle Franks over the batch. YUM !!. Need plenty of napkins and a good cold libation. :)

Rinse, pat dry and marinate them in Kraft French dressing over night, not the low fat. Mix some , or none, hot sauce into the French dressing as preferred. Am using the quick hot sear method on grilled chicken. This requires full attention, spray bottle to keep down flames and willingness to make a mess of your grill. You need to keep flipping and coating while cooking, but the resulting flavor is very tasty. Blackened skin, but moist. Best to try out in small batches first. It ain't health food. The attached pics demonstrate, and are actual pics of the process using all the chicken.

Love good hot wings!

I enjoy many different types, but mine are marinated a few hours in Franks Hot Sauce, fresh garlic and some Tabasco (original).
BBQ'd, quick char and then finish slowly. Once ready toss wings with warm sautéed Frank's Hot Sauce with too much melted butter to be admitted publicly.
Serve with a roll of paper towels, get busy. :D

Can't stand Franks hot sauce. If I want vinegar and cayenne, I'll make My own. Local market up here packages marinated wings and I cook them in the air fryer or on the smoker. Really good.

Frank's is another cheap, salt laden hot sauce, but it's apparently popular. I don't buy it, but... I don't think I've ever tried a hot sauce that wasn't pretty good. Even Louisiana Hot Sauce, close to or at the bottom of the list is decent if that's all you have. Any hot sauce is better than none.

OK as a life long Buffalo resident I have to chime in here. If you can’t deep fry wings an air fryer is the next best thing. But grilling is ok too. After cooking them place them in a bowl that has a lid. Add melted butter to the Franks hot sauce and shake wings in container till coated. Always! And I mean Always serve with blue cheese. Ranch is for your salad.

I like chicken wings however they're cooked. The simpler, the better. Can't go wrong with Franks Red Hot. Just as long as there's no feathers on them, I'll eat them!

Never been to Buffalo but started eating what was supposed to be the original since '86. Have had many a wing since from various vendors but usually go back to the deep fried wing tossed in a bath of melted butter & Franks.
Have lately been air frying them & getting a handle on that.

A dang shame that they got so popular or became a trend. The wing was the cheapest part of the bird, & now they are sometimes the most per pound of any part.

Oh! When out I always order the bone in ones too. That way I can feel fairly comfortable that I'm actually eating chicken.

Also ain’t never been to Buffalo.
But I’ve been to Ft. Drum.
I like Frozen Franks Wings.
Cook some in the oven and your good to go!

I worked with a guy that constantly carried a bottle of Tabasco sauce that he applied to everything short of fresh fruit. A Nam vet-his explanation was you could eat Anything will enough Tabasco. My favorite with less vinegar is Texas Pete.
