Cincinnati PD officer killed in line of duty today

I live just across the river from Cincinnati, where an LEO was killed around 9:30 this morning by a 21-year-old upstanding citizen. Thankfully the officer killed made sure the perp met his maker as well.

Although I didn't know the man, it hits home a tad, the guy was my age (48) and was on the force 27 years....probably pretty close to retirement, or at least probably thinking about it. My cousin works for CPD in the same district where it happened.
