Anybody dealt with this shop online??
They appear to offer a pretty extensive inventory but their prices seem a little high. Pictures seem excellent, but how close to reality are they in person?
From reading online reviews it seems that their markup is fairly substantial, so I don't imagine any trade-in's would be in one's best interest. I also understand that some of their guns are on consignment. Is there any way to identify these in their ads?
Do they bargain at all or lower the prices over time if they have sat on something for a while or have too many duplicates of a given type? (I'm mainly interested in antiques.)

I bought a Pre 36 from them and they did reduce the price. It was a smooth transaction. I do agree they are on the high side but that's their business.

Though ive not bought from them yet, they do seem to be a nice place to do business with--especially if your wealthy. A few years ago,I badly wanted a nineteen eleven they had--that had belonged to a WWI Medal of Honor Recipient but,I couldnt afford the five K for it.

I purchased two antique percussion, screw barrel, pocket pistols from them about ten years ago. The salespeople were knowledgeable and their descriptions were honest. Their follow through was correct and timely. They are a little expensive, but they are reputable and in some cases, the only easily available market out there.

Anybody dealt with this shop online??

Yes. Bought from them a couple of years ago. Through e-mail and phone conversations with Ryan and Austin, all my questions were quickly and courteously answered. Unlike a lot of other online dealers, they didn't act like it was a big pain for them to answer questions.

Yes, their prices as advertised seem a bit high, and in some cases, way high...but they are willing to negotiate. They did with me.

I look at their site on a regular basis, just to see what they're offering. Only complaint I have with them is that their website could work a lot better and a lot faster. If I wanted one of their guns, I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again.

I have dealt with Mike Clark (owner) for 30 plus years. He gets top $ for his stuff and he has some of the best around. He is the most highly trusted dealer I could recommend to anyone.

Expensive, but may bargain some.

One purchase on line went well; pleasant, helpful folks.

Like already stated they are higher than other places I have seen on almost everything, but they do have a wide selection of used pistols. If you don't have time to find something and just have to have it now it is a place to check out. I would suggest trying to negotiate with them, but they have been there a long time and seem reputable. If money is not real important they are the place to go.

I have shopped at Collector's for years. They have an extensive inventory and add to it all the time. I recently bought a short barrel rifle there and they handled the entire transfer very efficiently. If you want a Colt Walker, they may have one in stock. They are however not for the budget shopper.

I bought an Ithaca police special shotgun from them about 6 years ago.. I agree their prices seem high but the price on this one was more than fair and the transaction was smooth. I'd have no problem doing business with them again.

Bought a High Standard derringer from them some years back; always wanted one "just because". Not exactly a "high roller's" gun, but on that they were quite reasonable.

They do appear to be a tad expensive on other stuff, though.

I've bought a couple of pieces there at a price I was willing to pay.

They are VERY expensive, but on the other hand they have a huge inventory and their staff is knowledgable and pleasant. They are honest dealers, and their photos are a good representation of the gun. Did I say they are EXPENSIVE?

They are on the high side and do not apologize for it. It is not a discount shop. It is the best gun shop in this part of the country, and as good as any. It is our favorite long lunch time activity to visit this shop. The selection is unsurpassed. The service is excellent. Call them and talk to them. Not only firearms, but ammo and accessory selection is great. As much a museum as a gun shop. Don't be buying any of my N frame 357 revolvers!

I bought a high condition K-22 from them in 2005 or so, and thought the price steep, but I wanted the gun. Sold it for a handsome profit last year.

They do get some really nice examples. The price reflects the quality.

The are great to deal with fast and easy transaction. However, they are expensive but carry some of the finest antiques. I purchased a Nambu 14 from them a few months ago and it was was in excellent shape. All the serial numbers matched except the magazine. All parts function properly and they had a sale on it I could not resist. I have always wanted one that was in very good condition and they had several to choose.

Nice site.I browsed a bit looking at the ATI imports--MP-fourty.Their price from whoever was selling--was way too high.I know two dealers selling them in crates for about three fifty. Who the hell--would want to add a fake suppressor to this gun?Thing looked stupid with one in it.
