Colt Trooper (What’s it Worth)

I’ve can only recall owning one Colt in my lifetime. Not up to date on Colt prices or trends. Wondering what the Colt Trooper that I acquired yesterday is worth? I think it dates to 1964

With trade I’m into it for more than that, but I would say that’s a pretty good guess given the condition of the finish.

$500-$600 at best on a good day…that’s assuming it’s in fine mechanical condition.

The stocks alone are worth about $200 plus or minus.

From 1968, one of the best shooters I have.

The guy I got it from was going to have it reblued. Glad he didn’t. I plan on keeping it “as is”. Very good mechanical condition with tight lockup. Just going to be a holster gun for every day use.
