Well just imagine (either one)if you will, what that would have been like after Katrina.?? We have the technology we can make it stronger , faster etc but just can not seem to implement it.

Heck if NCC-1701 could go and gather up Whales and bring them back to Earth, sure could of transported all that flood water.:)

WOW!! We get the Six Million Dollar Man, The worst hurricane in a hundred years, Starship technologies, and the idea that whales could be as intelligent as Man all in one post. Brilliant!!
 
IMHO if you post something in the LOUNGE, it's fair game as long as we stay within the rules and it's not a "serious" post such as "Prayers Needed" or XYZ Passed On".

One of the biggest reasons why this place is what it is, is the humor. We laugh. We poke fun at ourselves and each other. It's a home away from home. Just like a few guys sittin round the table with a beer in hand. Why do you think the LOUNGE is the busiest sub forum?;)

I see very few hijacked threads but they do get sideways pretty quick!:eek:

Oh and pass the broccoli.:p

I got all worked up about it for a while, but have come to believe that posts running astray are for the most part unintentional (unlike the rabbit recipe I just put up. It really is good)

Kinda like the old telephone game from kindergarten, by the time the message got to the other side of the room, it was nothing like the original.
