Convert 35 round to short 10's

Anybody successfully done this?

You could trade them for short 10's, if anyone has any they want to give up I suppose.

The other option is to cut the base off, shorten the magazine and then glue it back together. Cut the spring to the correct length and you'd be good, I've seen this done to shorten them but not to a 10 rounder. I wouldn't bother personally but to each their own.

Why? I wouldn't waste the effort.

My tripod is too short and I have to stand up at the shooting table. I've got several large mags, and would like one short one. I've seen the sw mags shortened, but the plinker 35... Not seen cut down. It also has no load assist button, nor slot.
