Cookie addiction is no laughing matter

Kroger sells their own brand copy of Chips Ahoy with "chunks" instead of bits. They're about 1/3 less expensive which means more cookies per dollar for ME. A package of those might last me two days if I'm not feeling up to par. Ginger Snaps are another favorite. I've been addicted to Maple flavor anything since I was a kid. Stuckey's sold maple flavor candy and they had 5,000 stores on Rt.66 on the way to Granma's farm in the Ozarks. I found a Bakery nearby that sells Maple frosted donuts. So many calories, so little time.

Maple - yum.

I sure miss those old Brach's Maple Nut Goodies, and the only fudge I'll eat is maple pecan.

Best Chocolate chip recipe I've found. And the family attacks them as fast as I can bake them.

It seems nearly every website I visit has an annoying pop-up asking me for my "cookie preferences"... but no option for "soft molasses ginger" or "double chocolate chip", both of which should be included along with "strictly necessary only."

ginger snaps (hard) and homemade molasses/ginger (soft) are definitely all time faves. simply don't have the teeth anymore for

Springerle's .

Springerle cookies were my favorite when younger and had better teeth. My grandmother was the only source, and had never heard anything about them elsewhere.

My Grandma made scratch biscuits for breakfast every morning. She'd take the leftover biscuits, cut them in half, put on butter and sugar, then stick them back in the oven until they had a light crunch. Those were the cookies for us grandkids. We loved 'em!

For years my better half spent hours baking Toll House chocolate chip cookies for me to take up to hunting camp. She baked enough to fill two 1.5 Gal Tupperware tubs. My job was Quality Control. I had to taste any questionable product and destroy any mis-shaped products.
It was a dirty job, but someone had to do it. It's surprising how much weight I lost since i stopped hunting.
;)

If I could find a soft chewy chocolate chip ice cream samitch I would definitely overdose and go to doggy heaven.........
Take a pint of ice cream and slice it into discs. Place between 2 of your favorite cookies and, poof, ice cream sandwich. A favorite is double chocolate chip cookies and coffee ice cream.

Mrs. RSBH44 is a baker of all things confectionery. I would be in the broken down dog house out back without so much as a blanket if I was ever caught eating store bought cookies . Hahaha
My absolute favorites are a stack of pecan sandies and a cold glass of whole milk .
