Cool flashlight

Im not convinced short of the maelstrom (a very good light) the lower price options sacrifice considerable output. the Ulzio T-1 Ultrabright will be my next buy. 250 lumen, 3 settings water proof, shock resistant, comes with pressure switch, light, mount everything you need for like $80. Ill let you know how well it does when it gets here.

Ebay offers them for as low as $54,00

I have to say, it's a very interesting light

Forgot about this the other day, but if you guys are also looking for an economical way to get an IR tactical flashlight, and already have some of the more common tactical flashlights, then try a flashlight upgrade from here > P60 Style 940NM InfaRed IR Drop In LED Flashlight Upgrade Engine

I know of at least two agencies who have simply upgraded their tactical flashlights with these and use them.

Also, one other entry here for a tactical "visible" flashlight also that people often overlook is the Pelican Tactical Series lights. I've got a couple of the M6series and they have been good lights over the years. Got one mounted on another weapon, and use one hand held. Only problem with them for weapon mounting used to be rings for mounting them when I first got them, but such are avaialble now from other sources, and there is no pressure pad switch for them from Pelical but you can find one third party from other sources.

True, but they charge so much shipping that it's almost cheaper to get a return flight.
I just checked to be sure and they wont even ship the light to Holland.

get someone here in the U.S to get it for you and ship it to you. Is there an export restriction on them?

yeah, to be safe. have someone buy it, post it online on ebay with the buy it now feature. If you actually buy off ebay, you have that safty net. I think we have some very honest people on this forum but you still dont want to risk it.

Heck, if you are set on that flashlight I'll order yours when I order mine, post it on ebay and send you the link.

That would be great!

well check rates on Fedex, UPS, DHL, and USPS from Boise Idaho, 83706 US. to your location. if the shipping charges are worth it to you, let me know.

That Ulzio looks pretty sweet, I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see how it works out for you guys.

Just couldn't bring myself to get it, was so close. Ended up ordering this Streamlight TLR-1s. It says backordered, but when placing the order the date given was 3/12/11, so that's not bad. Added a box of S&W .40 ammo to make shipping $1.

If you guys praise this Ulzio enough I'll definitely be getting one of them too. :D

BRIGHT!!! light

For all those in search of a super Kick *** flashlight. I came across them at a show in my area.
NOXX Flashlights
All I can say is WOW! I have never seen technology that small make that much light. The down side is the orange bezel for those looking to be "tactical". But I'm sure you can remedy that with a bit of paint. And still under $40

For inexpensive use by those who take environmental stewardship seriously (i.e. shooting rats in the dump), it's hard to beat the six AAA cell 200 lumen CREE XRE LED flashlight at Sam's. 2 for $30.

I'd rather stick with my Surefire G2 LED (w/P61 high output bulb) that I picked up from Gander Mountain a few weeks ago for $29 shipped.

I picked up a pressure switch & cap for the G2 ($12) and a picatinny light mount ($8), so I'm all set if I decide to mount it to my rifle or shotgun.

That looks like a very cool flashlight, the only issue I have is the measurment in "Candelas" instead of Lumens. Candelas are teh output of a light based on how efficient the reflector is and the brightness of the light "hot spot" or most concentrated portion of the beam. it doesn't take into account the "temperature" or color of the light nor the total light output. Therefore Candelas or candle power cannot be used to compare the brightness of a light.

Lumens, on the other hand, are the measure of the total output of a light. I feel like they are trying to hide how powerful the light actually is. If you have this light could you post a video?
