I was in a local gun store recently when a gentleman walked in carrying a beautiful left handed stock. He walked up to the salesman and myself and said he had just picked this up out of a recycle bin in neighborhood and did we/I want it. Being a lefty, I accepted.
After some research and emails with Cooper Arms, it is a stock for a left hand model 52 Jackson Game with AA+ Claro walnut wood. Looks likw AAA to me, lots of fiddleback from end to end.
I wanted to make a functional rifle out of this, but there does not appear to be an action that will fit, other than a Cooper and they will not sell anything other than a complete rifle.
Any thoughts on making this a shooter or who might be interested in the stock.
