Cor-Bon .38 Special+P 115 grain JHP in a 15?

Can I use Cor-Bon .38 Special+P 115 grain JHP rounds in my model 15-3 / 4 inch barrel??

I have been researching good self defense rounds and this Cor-Bon round seems to be the consensus winner.
I have read that it should only be used in steel frame revolvers or modern 6 shot revolvers. Define "modern".

If this round is not well suited for my 15-3, please make make a suggestion for a good Home Defense round.

I agree, assuming the gun is in good mechanical condition. Additionally, the chart below from S&W shows it is OK in a M15...

Thanks for the responses. stiab...What would that Warning be on page 7? Probably stating not to use the +P for regular shooting or target practice.

The warning states use of +P may accelerate wear in some guns. You should be good to go!
