Correct grips for 1938 S&W M&P Model of 1905 4th Change

I follow HBH K frames and find that a great deal of HBH MP targets also have magnas. Doesn't prove anything but I do find it interesting. The lack of serial numbers on the back makes it harder to know if they are original.

It's in my head a bit that shooters that wanted the newer hammer also were interested in the newer magna grip.

The letter proves that the gun was shipped with magna stocks. While you can't prove that they are the original stocks shipped with the gun, no one else can prove they aren't. They look very nice, and I suspicion they have been refurbished by someone who knew what they were doing. I would not change a thing.

I think the same thing.
The refinish looks a lot like the work of a past forum member that refinished a lot stocks on here,including a set of prewar K magnas for me!
