I purchased this 50's 357 (Nov. 1953) back in November and a little while ago I put it out for sale on my tables. Before they opened the doors to the public I pulled it off and took it home. I'm a big fan of the 5" 357's from this era and I have a few. This one, with the non-relieved targets, kinda' spoke to me. It has a ring to it when you close the cylinder. Now, it's got some minor muzzle wear and a couple dings on the wood where ejected cartridges hit it but I can tell this gun has been shot very little over the 70 years before I got it. I need to letter it to see if it was exactly 70 years and to see if the NRT's were original to the gun. I guess you can tell I have made up my mind. Now I need to cut that gun show tie off it and take it to the club and shoot it.
