I usually use a suppressor with my thermal for hog hunting and the flash is not a problem. Before I got the thermals I used an NV IR scope and the flash, non suppressed, did wipe out the image on that briefly with the shot. Worth the effort to cook up hogs for dog food? Wouldn't be for me, but then I don't have dogs to feed either.Hi again, two questions. For those of you who are using night vision or Infrared scopes, do you use any sort of flash hider? I know (from building the Monogram P-38 model that night fighters had flash hiders at the end of the barrel. If suppressors end up being legal, those might work. A Friend of mine had more hogs that cattle on his cattle ranch, but we never saw any during the daytime.
On the big male hogs, would it be worth the effort to cook up the meat for dog food?
