I just got back from another Beach Boys concert, this one at the Great Frederick (MD) Fair. What was nice was it turned out some of my cousins got tickets to the show on their own so we all got to see the concert. They weren't old enough to remember the old Beach Boys songs from when those songs came out but they really enjoyed the concert. It was a great production. There was a big telscreen facing the grandstand so I got a really good view of everybody on stage. Like the last concert I saw a little while ago, it looked like everybody on stage was having the time of their lives. And the Beach Boys showed real class by bringing all of the band members up to the front of the stage to take some bows. It wasn't a cheap date for myself but I had a great time and I was glad to see my younger cousins enjoying the music I grew up on and played on the air as an oldies disk jockey in my misspent youth.
