The Beach Boys was the very first concert I ever went to back in 1975/76 at Pine Knob in Auburn Hill, Michigan. Had their 'Endless Summer' 8 Track jamming in my '68 Cougar XR7 with Mindblower speakers. Ah the good ol' days.

Were you maybe smoking something that night? I only ask because Pine Knob is in Clarkston, MI and always has been.

How about ...Newport, Huntington piers; 15th Street, Blackie's, The Golden Bear, The Prison of Socrates, the Wedge, LLoyd Thaxton, the Sunday beach preacher, etc..I agree, GREAT memories!!

You hit em' all Maricopa. The Golden Bear...my girl and I saw Janice Joplin and Big Brother Holding company at the Bear just prior to me leaving. Tin can beach which is now called Bolsa Chica...you didn't dare walk to the shore without shoes...nothing but old cans and broken glass. I didn't much care for the Wedge especially when there was a south break set. Oh to be young again

Ahhhh, Auburn Hills, Clarkston....220, 221...whatever it takes. It's Sunday and I had a pretty good Saturday night. LOL

Guess what? I just bought my ticket to see the Beach Boys on September 19 at the Great Frederick Fair in Frederick, MD.
