Covert Chinese Air Force drone bases in the U.S.?

Connect the dots:

1) The U.S. and China are adversaries;
2) China leads (by far) the rest of the world in small drone technology;
3) Hundreds or perhaps thousands of Chinese males in the 20's/30's/40's age group have entered the US via our open borders;
4) China has made many attempts to purchase land near US military bases;
5) China could easily have the talent in place within the U.S. that could build and operate drones of the types being observed flying mysteriously around sensitive locations in the U.S. that are giving our government fits trying to figure out.
6) They could operate from a house.

We could have a problem ...

Thoughts?

Do we not have the technology to find the "house" they would use to fly the drones and put a stop to it?

Drone incursions have been happening for some time. Thing is the DoD is extremely limited as to what it can do about it because of various laws governing US territory. The same restrictions were why the Chinese balloon was not shot down until it was over the ocean. There is a longish artcile on the subject here.

I think I read that it isn't illegal to fly drones over military bases here in the US after it was done over Langley AFB not too long ago. That's about the dumbest thing I've heard in a long time. It should be prohibited at all installations.

I'm covered.
