this morning.

We usually let him out whiel we sit on the back porch and watch the sun come up and drink our coffee. Done that every monring for a year and a half.

He makes his round usually within 50-60 yards of the house, pee's on every tree, bush, 4 wheeler tire,....... and then comes back to the back porch and sits between my feet.

This morning a pack of coyotes got him and he wasn't but about 50 yards from me. There will be hell to pay for them coming in my yard to get him.

Smartest and most loving little dog I've ever seen. Gonna be tuff getting used to him not being under my feet or in my lap.

His name was Dude....... and boy was he.

I just lost my best friend Tuesday, so I know the feeling of loss that you are dealing with right now. I hate yotes anyway, so get all that you can. I hope that you can get the ones responsible for the loss of Dude. At one point here, that was something I was worying about. The yotes are starting to come into the edges of town, and I have had some trapped off my propety.

I feel for you, and my thoughts will be with you. May God comfort you as well.

Oh man, I am so sorry for your loss.:(
I would stake 'em out and shoot the rotten critters. I'll come up there and help you, when do we start?

Sorry about your the loss of your minpin. We have one and they are pretty tough but not against a whole pack.

Time to thin the herd. ;)

There used to be a bounty on them here in MI when I was a youngster. Now that it's been gone for a while, the coyotes are running rampant. If you can, leg trap one, then leave it there to attract others. The trappers that came here used that method quite effectively.

Holy cow!! That really stinks, I am really sorry to hear that.

I would hunt them all down..........

R. Walter....

You think that's humorous...?

What kind of sick mind have you got? I've read enough of your crap for the last time,

Done.....there is something seriously wrong with you...

Coyotes got our friend's dog last year... Just sad. They usually pick off our farm cats, too.

Send your favorite caliber's loading list, and your address.
I always like giving to a good cause!
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend Senior...

Sorry to hear of this, Senior Citizen. I have an old dog (she is 16) that I let out unsupervised for a few minutes every morning as I get ready for work. These last few months, I have had an odd feeling that this was not such a good idea, for some reason - nothing that I can explain. Anyway, your post may have helped me to avoid a similar tragedy. We have a few coyotes around here. I need to be a bit more careful with my old friend. Thanks, and once again, sorry to hear of your loss of Dude. :(

Well,
The turd is back on my ignore roster.
He posts so seldom, you can "almost" forget he's using up oxygen?
What a guy!

I am sorry to hear that about your dog.

I hate 'yotes also, which is why I hunt them year round. Some people only hunt in the winter for fur, I hunt to kill them. We had some get into our school farm when I was in high school. It was pretty ugly.

I would recommend a 12gauge with a Carlsons Dead Coyote choke and some Hevi-Shot Dead Coyote Shot shells in size "T" shot.

Tht will be very effective out to about 70 yds or so.

If I were close I would be more than happy to help you.
