ive recently purchased a s&w cs40 for a good price, unfortunately it only came with one magazine. Everywhere i looked online says its discontinued or out of stock and im just wanting to make sure i am not missing anything or looking at the wrong sites lol.

Now after doing some research on this very forum i found that alot of people who have the cs series complain about the grips and i do agree. ive been trying to find a link to where i can find the "big dog" grips.

Any help will be GREATLY apreciated. :)

Big Dog is no longer making those grips so you might have to find another manufacture. The magazines are out there. Just keep looking and you'll run across some. Call the mother ship and ask, maybe they will know where to look. Midway, Brownells and CDNN are also a good places to look. Good luck

than you both for replying so quickly. Ive googled it and midway doesnt have any the closest thing i got was ebay and 99% of them were for the m&p shield. I was informed that i could go to a local gun seller and try different mags they have to see if one fits, but i feel very uneasy about using parts from another gun even if it is just the magazine.

Midway had a few in stock in November and I was able to pick one up, but they have since been discontinued on their website. Keep an eye out in your local shops and the gun show, sometimes you get lucky.

I have one and have yet to find any mag that will crossfit
Just Google or yahoo until you find some
I believe I paid around 30 each

Thusfar I've tested with the CS45 mags in the CS40,
and with snap caps, they'll feed...
question of whether or not they'll feed under fire is still open,
until I get to the range ;)

My CS45 mags include non-CS 45xx's, 6-rd & 8-rd,
which so far, even though I've not put the extra indents in,
have served quite well with no mis-feeds or jams.
Although I'm watching & waiting for those issues,
part of me wonders if it was the anemic .45acp ammo of the time??

Speak of the devil...
hit a gun show this weekend,
guess what a couple of guys from Georgia had??
2 CS40 mags!! In that OLD S&W packaging...
Got 'em for $40 each...not a money-saver, but at least I got something ;)
