Just got off phone with Big Dog and found out the CS9 grips are finished. He worked from the tracing of the gun with the hogue grips off and the magazine out, pictures of the version 2 grip in proper placement on the gun,and the version 2 grip itself. He is sending them out tommorrow and they should reach Yonkers NY by Wensday. Now that I have learned how they are supposed to fit on the gun,LOL,and how to take off and replace the grips it won't be long for me to have pics posted......God Bless......Mike

They say Third Time is a Charm, well yes it is.They went on in about 2 minutes, fit the gun correctly, and have zero movement with the pin fixation. As promised here are the Pics http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2429992650047709249JyMCuc http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2852839030047709249rDBmnJ http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2993878670047709249TnllUl http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2453097670047709249uSuuvg http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2429430900047709249mbMOFM They are now ready for G to offer to all of us neglected CS9 owners.Enjoy and God Bless...Mike

Guys,no comments????I think Gerald would appreciate some feedback in regards to Version#3.He had said they were about a 1/4 of a inch too long but with the mag extension and the extra room in the Palm of my hand it is perfect for me.....Looking foward to all of your learned imput...........God Bless....Mike

Maybe it's just me, but from the photos, the new grips have an almost identical appearance to the stock grips.

The CS9 stock grips were rubber Hogue grips.Hogue refuses to make and market any aftermarket grips for the CS series because they are forbidden to do so by contract.Because this gun went to LEO there isn't enough of a profit margin for any other comany to make them, therefore we were left to our own devices to do so.Being that they pass as Delrin stock factory grips that is just the point. No printing on your garment in concealed carry mode and no dragging and sticking when in pocket carry.Unlike your great state of Texas,New York frowns upon its citizens exercising thier 2nd ammendment rights so we have to be very careful in doing so.....God Bless You and Yours........Mike

I didn't comment because mine are on order from Gerald

Great I hope that Gerald gets plenty of orders for this gripI put 100 runds thru my gun and the grips feel great.Zero movement, very comfortable,And NO MORE CLINGING BULGE.Guess the lack of comments are that people are happy with them.My job is done.......God Bless....Mike

Guys

Any chance one of you who has received BD's version 3's could post a picture of them looking at the butt of the gun?

I ordered a CS9 today. With all this grip discussion, I'll never be happy with the stock ones.

Thanks
LR

Hi LR.Right now Mr CS9 is having his night sights installed by my gunsmith but as soon as I get it back I will be happy to take those pics and post them for you.You will be quite happy with Geralds grips because it cures the Hogue Grip problem and fits wonderful in your hand....God Bless.......Mike

Hi Buff.Just send Big Dog a email and he will gladly make you a set.I forget his email address but you can find it by looking at his info in this forum. You will be very happy with the difference when you put his grips on and I can say that I have the first set and I was happy to be the CS9 Grip crash test dummy.....God Bless.....Mike

All you need to do is get in touch with Big Dog.His email address is in his contact information.I think the grips are 75 dollars.Just let him know and a set will be on the way.......God Bless......Mike

I'll have to say that those are some sweet looking grips you've created Gerald..
I've always wondered how/what you do to the inside expecialy were the mainspring seat is?
Also wonder if you've made any round back grips for the 3913/3914/3953?
There's Gotta be more options than the Hogues..

BTW when my CS9 was at S+W for conversion to DAO the gunsmith said "Those grips on here aren't the right ones and we would be happy to put the right ones on at no cost"to my wife. She just laughed and said don't even think about it.I can see Gerald's grips did make a favorable impression. They couldn't even copy them because of thier exclusivity contract with Hogue......God Bless....Mike
