I like mine immensely. I have some tritium night sights to install on it but haven’t taken the time to do so yet.

I never really thought it was an attractive peice, and I've heard a lot of bad reviews about it. I don't see it as a longterm keeper for S&W. I wish it was DA/SA, had traditional wood grips, a better trigger, and S&W put some more thought and class into its design and execution.

The CSX is now my everyday carry. I had a serious issue with my first one (described in another thread) but Smith replaced the defective barrel. The ergonomics, for me, are excellent and it points very naturally. The CSX also is very simple to carry concealed all day every day due to its size with proper holsters. I have installed XS Big Dot night sights with the big orange front sight and I have grown to like these sights for the pistol's intended use, up close and fast. I now have 2 CSXs and plan to add the XS sights to my backup CSX. Between the 2 CSXs I have well over 1000 rounds of 115gr, 124gr, 147gr FMJ and JHP defensive rounds with 1 single failure to feed in the first magazine full of 124gr FMJ. There have been NO further malfunctions. So far I have limited my shooting to 15 yards and closer as that is my self imposed limit due to older eyes. The trigger does take some getting used to, as its not as light or smooth as my beloved 1911's and did require an adjustment to my trigger finger placement to keep from pushing the shots to the left. (That was a me issue, not a gun issue.)
The one issue that was a major pain for me and many others was the cursed sliding sleeve on the 12 round magazine. After doing a bit of on-line research, I attached the sleeves to the baseplate and then modified the sleeve so I could still disassemble the magazines. Discussed in this thread:

The attached photo was 12rds of S&B 124gr FMJ to the head of the EZ2C 11"x17" silhouette at 7 yds as fast as I could reacquire the front sight. Not blazing fast but still trying to keep all shots in the zone.

Nuce pistols for self defense. Received a lot of criticism upon release for not functioning beyond its design (as a target pistol for one instance).
I bought a CSX shortly after they were introduced. I'm very happy with the gun. It shoots great and is easily controllable.

My CSX with adhesive side panels I purchased from an ebay vendor...do a good job...
Picked up a used one on a whim a couple years ago. It's a surprisingly nice piece. Accurate, easy to shoot for a compact, reliable. Not sure what market Smith was going after with these, but I applaud them for coming up with something different. I don't carry it much, the Shield is just too easy, but I do like it.

There's a big and largely ignored market for hammer-fired pistols.
Had Mine for almost 2 years now. Shoot a variety of 9's through it and they all shoot nice. I have no problem bouncing clay pigeon pieces on the 50 yard berm after I bust the clays. Trigger is smoothing up somewhat and I am used to it. The CSX would make a good EDC.

I don't want to bore anyone with repeating what I've said about mine (you can easily find it with a search here on the term "CSX"), but I like the model well enough that I bought a spare. 
My current EDC. IMO it is in the sweet spot for a 9mm hi-cap pocketable pistol. Same weight as a steel J, same capacity (nearly) as a Hi-Power. Fits my hand well. Been 100% reliable.
I find I “like” other pistols better. But as a practical choice, the CSX is superb.

I purchased my CSX last year LNIB for $450.00...$609.00 is the msrp. It was clean so I'm not even sure it was shot. The CSX is fun to shoot and has replaced my Sig 365XL as EDC. Fits my hand well, and I like that it's metal and like a mini 1911. Here is a picture of my CSX (bottom) my SA Emissary 9MM (middle), and SW M&P Shield Performance Center .45 (top)
My only complaint is that it "Clicks" when I shake it...I believe it is that the bottom round in the mag is loose on the 12 round mag. It does not bother me or effect the performance. Does anyone else notice this Click also or know what causes it?
