The CZ is ok, but it would be hard to beat the package one gets with the 6906. Mags, holsters, and parts are easier to find, and the price of admission is FAR lower with the S&W, but the quality is about the same.

The CZ is a far superior handgun IMO.
CZ fits my hand better. I think it is a better gun too.

You're quite confused.
CZ are current production with plenty of spare parts available on their website CZUSA - FULL SIZE
S&W third gen are obsolete and parts are becoming increasingly harder to find. With no factory support anymore.

Like probably many others here – I have both. The CZ is noticeably bigger then the M6906. I have never CC'd my CZ but I have the M6906 and found it to be compact enough for comfortable concealed carry. With the exception of the trigger play spring on the M6906, I think the whole parts situation is a moot point unless you intend on firing the S&W a lot. I use my Tupperware for range shooting and only occasionally fire either the M6906 or the CZ…

I have always found that CZ pattern pistols have a long 'reach' to the trigger, for the DA trigger pull.
It is the only handgun I've found that were a bit too big for my small hands. I have to buy women's gloves, for driving. Giving my small hands, I've been pleased to have had very little trouble with even some larger handguns.
I love my 6906. The lighter weight of the aluminum frame is nice for CC use, IMHO. And it's hard to beat Novak sights, too.

Enjoy your CZ. 
I really enjoy my new 75B. It came with dull green sight dots that I brightened up with white nail polish. It also arrived with an upswept beavertail, which I like, though the CZ website picture still shows the old style. Very accurate, and butter smooth trigger.

CZ parts are plenty. It's still in production and has been for decades. Every holster company makes a holster for CZ. Traditional CZ75 are $450 +/-. Mags can be ordered from any online mag distributor.

Stock CZ rubber or plastic grips are pretty fat. Getting a set of VZ or Lok G10 grips or CZ or CZC aluminum thin grips slim down the grip a lot.

Hands down the best pistol in 9mm parabellium the CZ75db. I waited over three decades to buy a 9mm. I wasn't looking when I seen the CZ85db. It's the amberdexterious cz75. Wow what a quality, dependable, reliable, 9mm pistol. I've seen it rated number one lately many times. Don't let the polygonal rifling fool you. I hit anything at 100yds using three feet of Kentucky wind age. It's good to know the distance each gun can shoot and still be accurate.

You picked up a great gun. I'm a huge fan of CZ's, my 75 is my favorite pistol.
As an aside, good for you buying one of the last current-production steel-frame, hammer-fired pistols. I think we need more choices in this category. Hopefully, CZ keeps making them for years to come.

Second trip to the range with the CZ and absolutely love the gun. Switched out the grips and bought the rubber ones that come with the CZ 75-SP-01. The picture below is a stock picture which shows the grips. I've probably run about 300 rounds thru the gun and zero problems. This target was at 7 yards.

Love my CZ Kadet and SS 75B but for those that think CZ's repair and parts is on par with S&W .... The right side slide stop recently broke on my 1994 CZ85 (Pre B) and a common breakage on older pre B 85's ... long story short CZ no longer makes the $1 part !
Only option is to send it to them on my dime ($70 UPS 2nd day) so they can drill a larger hole (For $95 fee) and replace the slide stop with the new version (Another $35)
Basicly its a $200 fix for a factory defect in design and a $1 part they no longer produce.

Just back from the range, and this gun just makes me smile everytime I take it. Out of all my guns this would be the very last to go. I have the CZ SP01 and the tactical version, but this gets the nod everytime.

I just got a CZ spo1 shadow-long slide. It likes factory FMJ ammo, but that's its only draw back so far. They send a target with it that shows a 1/2 inch group at 0 yds. I ain't there yet!
Another CZ I own and carry is the RAMI. Anyone looking for a good concealed carry gun should give it some consideration. It's about the same size as the Glock 26, but a nicer gun IMO. Can't shoot it as well as the 75, but working on it.
Yeah, the more I look, the more I'm thinking lets start out with the flagship 75B! I'm pretty sold on they're all going to shoot well!

The MecGar 19 round magazines will stick out a bit but will turn the CZ into a 20 shot pistol.
