Date of manufacture

Does anyone know the approximate year these were manufactured?

Model 36 J3500XX

Model 60 ANP7XXX

I recently picked them up, the 36 was from a retired officer's widow that wanted it out of the house ($250) and the 60 was in a local gun shop ($400). I will post pictures soon.

BTW - Since many ask I'll go ahead and mention it...plus P (+p) rounds are fine for both...just don't make it a steady diet of them...just enough to stay familiar w/ the extra bite of the recoil & also for carry...IMO a 158 gr. +p semi-wad cutter hollow points are great for .38 carry ammo, Speer 135 gr. +p Gold Dot hollow points are nice too, but everyone has thier favorites.

Not the exact date. But 1K39501 through 1K99999 serial numbers were issued in 1971. So there you go!
