Is there any way or product that will eliminate light superficial scratches or scuff marks from your typical SS pistol? My 4516-1 has a few and after working in an area with Mother's Mag polish I may as well have been using water. I don't want the bead blasted finish to look shiny.

That's what I thought. Since this will primarily be a carry/range pistol I don't suppose it much matters as it will get a few scuffs here and there. You still like them looking there best, however.

I have friends that will use them until they can't stand to look at them and will have me beadblast them and then use them until they need it again. Unlike anodizing an aluminum frame beadblasting stainless does not use up any of the metal so dimensions don't change even after repeated blastings. If scratches or nicks are real deep then the surface has to be sanded to remove them and depending on how deep the scratch is that can change the dimension. I have been able to make some pretty abused guns look real good again.
