Reading some of the lounge threads made me remember what an ex West Texas Sheriff told me about his grandfather. Shortly after Villa crossed into the US and made a nuisance of himself, Uncle Sam got concerned. He got concerned enough that he issued (1) Win 95 in 30 gov't and (1) Commercial 1911, to some of the ranchers in the Big Bend Area of Texas. I have seen an example of each of these.
