Did I really need another 3" K frame?

Sir, if we could only get our government to invest as wisely as you we would all be much better off. So go out and find another smoking deal on a 3 inch. Sound economics.

I just bought a pretty decent 13-3 with a three inch barrel at the Birmingham gun show for $300.00. It had a Hogue rubber monogrip on it, and some surface rust underneath it, which I mostly got taken care of by an application of Mother's metal polish. Thing is, I've already GOT a nice three inch 13-3 at home, only the one I just bought was blued, and the one I had is nickel. I tried to justify this purchase, and finally decided I just wanted the thing, and bought it. This can really become a sickness; I need professional help.......

Deciding you just want it is good enough reason to buy it! Good show!

Couldn't resist; had to post a pic of it with it's shiny brother......

Jframe, I've concluded that you are suffering from the dreaded S&W disease. There is no known cure for this disease. We tried putting folks who had this disease on sunny tropical islands and guess what happened? Besides chasing the very lovely ladies that lived there once they found an internet connection we were besieged with these funny little boxes marked S&W. We had to give up that form of treatment. But be of good cheer. Many here on this forum also have the same disease. And you have greater access to many fine S&W revolvers. See how it all works out for the best. Frank

Aloha,

At that price, I'd buy them until the money ran out.

The Wife likes them as home defense guns.

We don't have as much as we need......

I don't currently own a 3in K-frame .357. A 3in Mod.19 is one of my grail guns , but if I ever saw a nice 3in Mod.13 , especially for $300 , it would be mine!

So what if it's not a P&R gun. That makes it a carrying gun instead of a safe queen.
