Hello all.

I purchased a dillon press almost a month ago and was wondering if anyone has any idea how long it takes to actually takes to receive it. I know everything related to reloading is scarce at this time. Thanks

I ordered a new conversion kit for my dillon 1050 and was told 2-4 months. That was 6 weeks ago.

The ENTIRE Industry has been slammed since December.

At SHOT Show in January the REDDING booth had a single set of their dies to show to attendees. the dies belonged to one of the Rep's. He visited the Factory before the show...NO DIES on the shelves! So he brought a set of his own.

Dillon seems to be in the same situation.

We are living in crazy times.

Dillon Deliveries

You should expect 2-3 months for a complete press as they are swamped.
I have 8 Dillon Presses and I am waiting on a parts order for a SDB Primer System, etc.
It was ordered over a month ago and when I emailed asking for a status I got a downright surly email reply with no real commitment on ship date.

I am glad that I bought my RL550 last fall. Bought everything for 38 special, 357 mag, & 45ACP. Over Easter I found a gun that I had to have. CZ75B in 9mm. Have the brass, primers, & powder for 9mm. Waiting for my dies, adapter kit, bullets! Hehe....

Got a Facebook update from Dillon this morning:

"Just an update. Most machines, accessories are shipped in 6 to 7 weeks. Pistol dies about the same, but 223 and 308 dies are running about 10-12 weeks."

Ordered a Dillon 550B and a Super 1050 just slightly less than 7 weeks ago. Got the 550 8 days ago and the 1050 on Saturday. I now have 5 Super 1050s a 650 and 2 550s. Also have on older AT500 that I do most of my bigger game rifle loading on. 223 on a Super 1050. Dillon IS catching up

I was at Dillon's plant a few weeks ago trying to get the broken handle on a SDB replaced. There was a guy in the storefront who wanted to buy a 650 set up to load 3 or 4 calibers. He was waiving a wad of bills around and getting very up-set because everything he wanted was not available. The only thing they had in good supply was the Blue Press. Even calendars were running out.

Dave

PS: I was given a used SDB handle that didn't work as the set screw seat was stripped. Eventually got a new handle but they are buried in back orders.
