Do I have to shoot only standard velocity ammo in my Model 41?

I'm about to trade for a nice model 41 and want to know if high velocity ammo will damage or harm this pistol.

I have owned three of these in my life so far and all of them shot target ammo best, standard velocity. The do not chamber hollow points well at all .

Standard velocity ammunition will give you the best performance.
I won't shoot high velocity ammo in my 41.

Picked it up Today.
Thanks for answering my questions guys.

I've had a couple of 41s' that would not cycle with standard velocity ammo reliably, even with reduce power springs. There is no doubt that they should shoot tighter groups with the standard velocity stuff. If you do end up using the Hi-velocity rounds I would install a new recoil spring or even a extra power one from Wolff.
