I'm interested in the family interaction prior to the murder. How much did they know, why wasn't it reported, etc.
Yesterday my wife was home soaking up everything the media was putting out from all these so called experts. Never heard of some guy named Willie Cunningham, but she sent me a screenshot of some stuff he said. I'm just shaking my head at some of it.It rankled me that the media made this dweeb out to be some sort of elite death dealing omnipotent deity straight from John Wicks soiled underwear for a 200 yard missed headshot.
Turns out the captured twerp falls far short of the magnificent specimen he was purported to be.
No expert here, but that looks fake to me.The is a video out that showed Kirk was wearing a vest under his shirt and that the bullet struck the west, apparently deflecting upward into his neck. The impact on the vest is clear.

The shocking death of Charlie Kirk during a public event at Utah Valley University has left the nation in mourning. The right-wing commentator was fatallypollywebart.com
My post was specifically about the picture of the casing that the WSJ posted. I stand by my conclusion that their reporting (and their fact checking that we should expect and demand from "reputable" sources) was a farce. The image they showed never supported their claims and it unfortunately "got legs" and spread. If only the Governor read this before he passed on what you call fake news in his press conference...the press conference that stated what the anti-fascist message said.
I saw this too ... And shook my head at all of itYesterday my wife was home soaking up everything the media was putting out from all these so called experts. and I wasn't commenting on anything other than what has been confirmed by people who are doing the investigation. And yes, I heard the update in real time and before I posted. My post was specifically about the picture of the casing that the WSJ posted. I have no control over - and no opinion about - what the Governor said in his press conference. From the searching I did, he didn't show any images of the shell casing, but the WSJ did - and they got it wrong.

No relation per Washington County Utah Sheriff's Office:BTW, the shooter's father is in law enforcement. Do not know which branch yet.
??? What word? What little I have to say can be said without crossing any lines. The reckless and continuous misuse of the word engraved on the ammo is the direct cause of this. An undisputable fact.
The joke is that a little time with a ballistic calculator and doing some math reveals a 3° angle shot (assuming 30' elevation at 200 yards) that would be 3.5" low for a rifle zeroed at 100 yards. There's not enough downhill to make a big difference.I've read and heard lots of speculation by "experts". No one will know for sure until a lot more information is available. News outlets run unvetted stuff to beat their rivals. It wasn't a particularly easy shot, downhill (shots are high) a breeze, mirage in the heat, one of those situations where a move one way or another would have meant a miss.
