If I'm over-nighting somewhere, I'll have two with me, but only one at a time on my person.
Do you carry more than one gun frequently?

Just one, on my person. Like so many others I have a dedicated "car gun" that lives somewhere in my car. I also keep two reloads in the car.
One, usually a G23 or Shield .40... No reload. I figure if what is in the gun won't solve my problem, a reload probably won't either.
I gotta wonder how you fellas carrying 2/+ guns, knives, lights, batons and multiple reloads do it. You wearing load bearing gear/suspenders? Cargo pants? Manpurse? Where do you keep your keys/wallet/phone with all that gear?

Currently, I have the XD9's in LH and RH Don Hume 721 ( I think) OWB holsters, a spare mag in a Blackhawk mag pouch behind the left one, and a snubby in the left pants pocket. Ride and hide fine, with a nylon 'instructor' belt, under a one-size-larger T- or polo-type shirt. Far as I know, nobody has caught on. On the rare occasion somebody hugs me, I just make sure they don't reach around my waist--although one affectionate little 4-year-old boy at church once ran up and grabbed me in a little-kid hug, and smacked his head on one of the guns. He just looked confused, rubbed his head, and ran off to hug somebody else.
One thing I need to figure out--in my state, if LEO wants to hold your gun during a contact, they have the authority to do so (in my day, it was the folding Buck knives in the belt pouch). So, if an officer tells me to hand over my gun while he writes me a ticket or whatever, do I ask him 'Which one?', or just hand him one, or tell him about all three? I dunno..... Acebow

I usually carry 2. A pistol on my belt (concealed) a spare mag and a J Frame in the car - secured. I figure if I have to use all of that I'm in deep do-do and I need to leave - quickly, if possible. The J frame is insurance if the pistol malfunctions (which it probably won't) but rather have it and not need it.

Now that I'm retired, not usually. When traveling, I usually have a spare in my luggage or vehicle. Most of the time, the primary gun is a Glock 26 with a Glock 19 in the luggage (or the other way around), or a Glock 30/21 combination. I carry my 340 M&P around town, as well as a Shield 9mm or Kahr PM9.

I carry two any time that I leave town. Usually a full size (Glock 19 or Beretta 92) and a pocket gun (sig 938 or S&W 442). If there is a situation where I have to reload, I would rather just draw a new weapon.

I usually carry one but if on a car trip 'll have a second one in the console. Sometimes if I want to carry more gun for some reason my Model 37 would stay in my pocket too.

I'm a big believer in the New York Reload (carrying a second, loaded handgun). I almost always pocket carry two J-frame Airweights in .38 Special with a speed strip on my belt. The only time I will carry one handgun is if I either have too much stuff to carry and there is simply no room, or if I'm carrying a long gun (i.e. if I'm hunting). I had an experience a few years ago when out walking my dogs (we were attacked by two Boxers) that convinced me that having two guns - especially if they are accessible to either hand - is the best way to go.

One. I've never carried more. For over sixteen years (concealed carry in Kentucky wasn't legal until the first of '98) it's been a pocket-carried J-frame. Sometimes with one or two speed strips in an old pager case on my belt, but usually not.
I have no one else to arm, and I don't get out a heck of a lot anymore. I feel okay with the snubby alone.

Well, now I'm disappointed. Thought I was the only one with the idea to carry speed strips in a pager/cell phone case. The disappointment part is that I was about ready to put a patent on the idea, so anybody else doing it would have to pay me a royalty. Acebow

I carry two Revolvers, a Charter Arms 44 Special and a Smith and Wesson 38 Spl 642-1. It is quicker to draw a second handgun than
to load from a speed loader. Since each revolver holds five rounds
that gives me ten before I have to reach for a speed loader. Those

I usually carry a 442 in my old Army field jacket pocket in the winter as my primary is covered by a few layers of clothing . Also keep it "442" or my Makarov handy while driving as the seat belt is in the way of reaching the primary .

For those whose employment and or psyche require more than the usual amount of concealed equipment: guns, ammo, cuffs, or even first aid gear. The answer is a custom made vest. Material, or combinations of material are a matter of choice, but the main principal is to have a fairly stiff load bearing inner vest, with a lighter "dress" outer vest attached togeather only at the shoulder seams. That way you can put a hell of a lot of gear on the inside of the inner vest and the outer vest still hangs loosely and doesn't look weighted down, and the stiffer inner vest also stops the gear from printing on the outer layer. Dedicated pockets for the gear on the inside are pretty much a must. Most leather shops will make you one for about half the price of a mod 60, one from a custom fancy clothing store gonna cost you more than a mint 27.

I read something like this..." beware of the man with but one gun, for he surely knows how to use it". I do not recall who penned this.... I carry one and a reload every day.
I'm out and about at 2 or 3AM,five nights a week for a part-time job.For these times,it's usually 2 guns.A Glock 36 as my primary and in the summer,a Ruger LCP.During the winter,my second gun is usually some type of S&W revolver in .44 .

I have been slipping a rifle in my truck when I'm out and about for a while now. I do conceal carry a Colt 1911 with an extra magazine.
