Do you really want to advertise that?

I suppose if I put a Obama supporter sticker on the back glass of my pickup folks will figure that there's not a gun in that vehicle to steal.

The ones I get a chuckle out of are the Obama/Biden stickers. Usually a person of color driving it every time I see one and I always want to stop um and ask um their reason for voting for the guy.

The ones I see are mostly on either a Prius or a foreign brand of SUV. I can understand the Prius (sort of), but the Range Rover or Subaru Forrester? Really??? Do you know that our Idiot in Chief hates your gas guzzling non-union-made vehicle? If he had his way he would take it away from you.

I, for one, am glad that some people feel the need to place Obama/Biden bumper stickers on their vehicles. It helps us identify who the idiots are.

Another reason to NOT advertise;
Over 30 Years ago, I had a karate instructor who was an EXCELLENT fighter, knew it...and as a result was overly cocky (some would even say arrogant) and made sure everyone around knew it!
One day, as he was leaving his job at a restaraunt (after just getting paid in cash) he was approached by two armed thugs, intent on robbing him. Normally, my money would be on HIM in this situation, but since everyone knew he was a highly trained b.a....they shot him in each leg and in the lower back as they approached. He was effectivelly helpless. He still carries the one bullet near his spine to this day, and has a substatially humbler mindset. Still one of the last people I'd recommend messing with though.

There are only two stickers on my vehicles; one is the fallen firefighter Maltese with my daughters name like my profile pic and the other is my Fire Dept. /EMS sticker.

As far as gun advertising, it doesn't matter to me. Depending on the day, what is going on, I either open carry or conceal.

I live in a rural area outside a tourist town. Most of us would still have rifles hanging in our truck windows if it weren't for the druggies running around from town to town looking to steal you blind.

It doesn't matter what is on your windows. Around here anyway, the easier the target looks, the higher the chance of getting robbed/broken in to/assaulted.

Very close community, we protect each other. LE... 30 minutes away, unless they are told suspect is be detained at gun point. Makes a difference in the response time... by 24 hours. (kidding)

Now, those are stickers that are "non-inviting" and unthreatening. Nobody is going to key your vehicle or break in because of those.:cool:

No offense intended to Protected One or anybody else, but does it seem to anybody but me that this has been hashed out for a very long time?

I haven't checked it for a while, but the number of posts is a bit startling. You pays your money and you takes your choice. :)

There's no "time limit" on posting, so I guess as long as someone wants to comment on the subject...the posts go on.
Don't see that the number of post matters.
