Do you still have your first Sigma/SW/SD?

I have had an SW9VE for several years. Used it as EDC until I got my M&P45. My wife carries a 9mm Shield, and keeps the SW9 in her truck.

The trigger did take some getting used to, but I was very accurate with it once I did. The trigger also got smoother with use, which seems to be the experience of most.

I have my SWVE 40 bought about 10yrs ago....it's in a safe door pocket because I have many others I carry and use that have superior triggers....I will keep it forever, or give it to a friend who may want a good handgun, but if I tried to sell it I could never get my $279 out of it because I see the SD versions on sale at Academy for $289 all the time.....besides, I may keep it in my camper or put it into daily carry in the future to change things up once in awhile.....certainly a good value in an inexpensive quality pistola......cheers. :->

I've only had my sd9ve for about a year. Put at least 1500 rounds down range with no problem. Most have been WWB 115 grain, with some federal 115's as well. So far it eats anything I feed it with no fft or ffe's. I've installed the apex spring kit and like the change. I use it as my every day carry inside waist band. I wouldn't get rid of it for anything. Great gun.

I had the Sigma 40 for a few months, but couldn't get used to the grip angle. The same with a Glock 22. It just didn't "feel right".

Nope, my SW9 is on loan to my son-in-law. I see no possible way that it will ever return. (don't misunderstand, he's a great guy, and I wouldn't trade him for the world)

Got my SD9VE last year as my first firearm/handgun. Upgraded the springs, trigger and magazine with Apex parts and love it. Even though I added a SIG P229 SAS .40 this year to my collection there is no way that I would get rid of my Smith, never ever.

BTW, I do have an SD9VE currently, but my SW9 is with my son-in-law. BOTH of the guns are working perfectly. No plan to get rid of either one (although the SW will likely be adopted).

I only have half of my first Sigma...

My 4506 is the only gun I have loved enough to not trade for a new interest. It will be awhile before my SD40VE goes to a new home. I just enjoy putting ammo downrange with it.

yep still have it, bought mine(sw40ve) new as my first handgun in 2011. i have since added a m&p40c, a shield9(my carry gun) and a shield 40(wife's carry gun). the sigma is the wife's "nightstand" gun adn the 40c is mine. i have no plans on selling any of them.

First handgun I ever bought was my SW40VE Allied Forces Edition. And, as much as I'd love to eventually get my hands on a 1911, I don't think I'd ever sell the S&W to buy a 1911.
The long trigger pull is fixed by a LOT of dry firing (and I mean a LOT) until you get used to it.
I have no idea how many rounds I've fired through it, but I've never had a FTF/FTE. Those have been everything from cheap reloads to the expensive stuff.
(On a side note, I have the best luck with Hornady Critical Duty rounds. Just gotta watch gunbot.net for when folks have it on sale.)
